Thanks for being a Member. We have some guidelines and policies to help ensure the safety of our Members on Kolectu.
General rules
- Do not impersonate anyone.
- Do not post private information. This includes revealing a passport, identity card, or address.
- Hateful conduct is not permitted. This includes discriminating or promoting violence or hatred towards individuals and groups.
- Spam, misleading and phishing content are prohibited.
- Do not set a profile display name or description that is intentionally spammy, misleading or confusing.
Content policies
- Do not share content that promotes, encourages or incites terrorism or extremism.
- Do not share content that features child sexual exploitation.
- Do not share content that encourages physical and mental abuse including self-harm or suicide.
- If you post content that belongs to someone else, it is your responsibility to ensure you have permission from the relevant copyright holders.
- Do not share content that is intended to harass others.
- Do not share sexually explicit content of someone that was produced without their consent.
- Do not share content that is intended to mislead, confuse, deceive or misinform others.
Usernames
Username squatting is strictly prohibited. If an account has been deemed inactive, we may release the associated username. Soliciting payment in exchange for usernames is prohibited and may result in the revocation of the username or permanent account suspension.
